PVU ANIMAVET was founded on October, 2002, when our first veterinary practice was open in Tuzi, near Podgorica. The founders are Husein Ljumić DVM and veterinary specialist Branko Živković. . One year later we opened another practice in Podgorica.
Our practice specialized in health management of both large and small animals. For the last 20 years our institution has been performing measures of the Operational Programme under the Contract with the Veterinary Directorate of Montenegro , as well as meat inspection in slaughterhouses under the authority of the Veterinary Directorate.
Through continuing education of are staff, we are trying to meet the highest standard of veterinary services. In 2010 we started working with wholesale of pet food, pet cosmetics and pet supplies. We are now distributers for Montenegro of several world leading brands like Orijen and Acana – Canada , Valpet – Italy, Vet expert Poland, Nobby – Germany and Avita Poland.
In Decembar, 2014 our firm began working with wholesales of veterinary drugs and medical supplies.
Few years ago we started cooperation with Krka Slovenia.
In our staff we have 1 veterinary surgery specialist, 3 veterinarians, 3 veterinary technicians, 1 office manager and 1 economist ( marketing manager), and one professional driver.
